Englewood, Colo. (February 1, 2005) - HealthTrio, a leading provider of e-Health applications and core business systems for the managed care industry, today announced that it has moved its corporate headquarters to Englewood, Colorado. In addition, it has added several new executives to its management team, including: Dennis Scruggs, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer; Asma Hasan, Vice President and Corporate Counsel; and Dave Syposs, Vice President of Product Marketing and Sales Support “Consolidating and centralizing our operations in Englewood and Tucson, Arizona is part of an overall strategy that will allow HealthTrio to be positioned to meet the ever-growing needs of the healthcare industry and to continue to provide excellent service and best of class products,” said Dr. Malik Hasan, HealthTrio’s Chairman. “As part of that strategy, we have also strengthened our management team with experienced people that will lead HealthTrio into the future.” As vice president and chief financial officer, Dennis Scruggs is responsible for the company's financial reporting and planning, capital formation, treasury functions, and internal control structure. Scruggs brings more than 25 years of professional experience to this role, including 17 years with Deloitte & Touche's Assurance Services practice and four years as a principal shareholder of Stockman Kast Ryan & Scruggs, a Colorado-based professional services firm. Before joining HealthTrio, he served as a consultant and chief financial officer for various companies, providing financial management services. Asma Hasan serves as HealthTrio’s vice president and corporate counsel. In this role, she is responsible for overseeing all the legal aspects of contract negotiations, preparation, administration and compliance. Before joining HealthTrio, Hasan served as an associate in the San Francisco, New York and Hong Kong offices of Clifford Chance LLP. Previously she held various positions with US West (now Qwest), Qual-Med (now Health Net) and Koncilja and Koncilja PC, a Colorado-based law firm. As vice president of product marketing and sales support, Dave Syposs provides leadership for all strategic marketing and public relations activity for HealthTrio, as well as broad sales support. Over the past 20 years, Syposs has served in executive level positions with various HMOs and technology companies. His experience in selecting and implementing technology solutions as CIO for Independent Health has enabled him to obtain a thorough understanding of the elements that separate technology “systems” from true Solutions, shaping Syposs’ vision for HealthTrio.
